Question: tyre pressures for fiat ducato 2.8 motorhome 3.4tn?
( Back )
Answer #1:
Tyre pressures on the Motorhomes are usually 59psi front and 65psi rear, but you really need to consult the handbook or Fiat or the Motorhome manufacturer because there are variations depending on the exact model and the year. We fitted 4 wheels and tyres to a '53 plate Ducato Motorhome today and the recommended pressures (on the sticker inside the drivers's door) said 5.5 BAR which is 79.8 psi.The sticker in the cab will have been fitted by the firm that did the coach building - after the chassis left the factory.
Answer #2:
Do not go by the sticker inside the front door. These are for the base chassis cab and not for the finished Motorhome conversion. The best thing to do is to get your MH weighed at a local weighbridge. Front axle, rear axle, and overall. Make sure it is fully loaded, full tank of fuel and water tank, all passengers you would normally carry and anything else you normally take.
Then go on the tyresafe website and you will find recommended pressures for tyre size/axle weights.
